The Head of the Pigs

Here at almost any major celebration one will get to eat yummy pig (here called lechon). I like to take pictures of the head.

Lest you think I am lazy, these are three separate pigs from three separate parties.

Someone googled the word "Gingerbread house" and ended up in my blog. I followed back teh search and found the goggle page she got me from. Then I clicked on some and I ended up on your blog (the one you talked about Costco ginger bread houses). Anayway I find your blog very interesting since I m a Filipina leaving on Maui. I hope you don't mind that I peek here every now and then...

Liza, the gingerbread houses your kids made are so cute! I love that there are some that are exactly the same as the one we tried here. Anyone who finds my blog via gingerbread house will be really disappointed because although I think our house looks cute and the kids had a great time making it, it is likely not what anyone on google is looking for. We plan to do cookies this year instead because the house melts too quickly here in the humidity.

Oh Katie! You are such a cute little vegan!!

I was about to call you out on your overkill. However, once you mentioned that these were three different pigs from three different parties, then I began to see the differences in their faces. Pigs are not nameless, faceless food, they are individual, beautiful animals who deserve a chance at the wonderful life they deserve.

Did I beat Katie in the cute little vegan department?

Ugh -- I know, I know, must be delicious but truly, I can't stand the sight of cooked animals.
