Coolest Bathrooms in the Philippines

After talking so badly about the bathrooms in the Philippines, I thought it only right that I give some notice to the cool bathrooms in the Philippines.

First we have a wood themed bathroom. This is at a restaurant in Laguna whose name escapes me....

Anyone that can turn ugly stalls into something cool is awesome!

Altered toilet...

This was the shower at one of the bathrooms in the B&B at Sonia's Garden (in Tagaytay). I loved the full window next to the shower.

Quite possibly the coolest bathroom I have seen. Lest you think that is just a fountain, it is actually a jacuzzi tub (private residence).

WOW!! That jacuzzi tub bathroom is BEAUTIFUL!!! I was hoping that was a resort somewhere instead of a private residence. It would be worth the visit just to indulge in that tub for a while.

Agree -- cool and pretty.

I like those two sinks (first picture.)

I'm about to renovate my holiday home that we've just bought (northwest France by the Atlantic) and boy, I'd like to have some really original, handcrafted bathroom fittings and furniture and home decors -- sadly they would cost a bomb in Europe.

Sweet. You finally post and it's about toilets. Love it!

Yeah, the jacuzzi is really fricking cool--in all honesty, it is one of the best vacation homes I have ever seen...here or abroad.

I loved the sinks and stall just because it showed that with a little creativity, a public bathroom can actually be really cute.

It is all about the toilets. Especially when it is so hard to find one with a toilet seat attached.

The one thing I don't like about Philippine restrooms, for example SM Mall toilets and many McDonald's (the fast food place) toilets, have no toilet seat cover. I mean how can women use those freakin' toilets. I know my mom cannot use the bowl without it. Is it too much to ask McDonald's and Henry Sy to provide those cheap contraptions? C'MON!
