Anti-American Mass

So today I went to mass and as always was the one random American. We got there in the middle of mass and the priest was telling the packed church about the Declaration of Independence. He then went on to talk about how these are rights given to people not by their government but by God. He continues to tell everybody that if you cross yourself in an American public school you will go to jail!! What a freak. Ado wrote him a note telling him that that was incorrect and the idea of separation of church and state is not to quell religion but rather allow all people to practice their own religion without any one being forced on them.
