Just arrived in Manila...still taking it a day at a time
hi-ro has been our childhood cookies, way before we knew oreo existed (am in my mid-thirties ;-)don't think its name is a corruption from oreo.. altho i can only surmise :-)
Sweet! I didn't know that--in fact the companies were so similar (Nabisco vs. Fabisco) that I actually wondered if they were the same brand or sister companies.
I am 49 and that is one favorite cookies during my childhood!
this is my favorite cookie when i was a kid..i miss it. wish i could find a filipino store here in denver soon.
same here. Hi-ro has been around since I was a kid. I am 31 years old. :D and IP exist here. But they are just starting to get active.
